Guide

Show the original view and control an origin

Use Show original once for a temporary return. Disable the current origin when the choice should persist.

Raw is not Chrome's original view

Raw shows unprocessed source text inside the Formatter. The Formatter is still active. Use Show original once when Chrome should render the response without Nandemo Formatter.

Show the original view once

  • Open Settings in the Formatter or the extension popup, then select Show original once.
  • A one-use token for the current tab is saved and the page reloads. The token contains no URL and is removed when used or when the tab closes.
  • Reload again to return to automatic formatting.

Disable or re-enable an origin

  • Select Disable automatic formatting for this origin. The page reloads only after the setting is saved.
  • An origin is scheme, host, and port. Paths, queries, fragments, and documents are not stored. Persistent controls are HTTP(S)-only.
  • Re-enable it from the popup on that origin or remove it from Origins without automatic formatting in settings. Origins cannot be typed manually.

If saving fails

  • The page does not reload, previous settings remain unchanged, and the extension shows an error.
